The 110th Annual Summer Exhibition at St Mary’s Art Centre in Sandwich has officially come to an end, and what a fantastic event it has been!
After opening on 21st June, we welcomed record numbers of visitors, a clear sign of the hard work put in by our members to promote this year’s exhibition.
This event has truly brought together art lovers from our local community and beyond, creating a wonderful atmosphere filled with creativity and inspiration. The impressive turnout not only demonstrates the growing enthusiasm for local art but also showcases the incredible talent of our artists, both established and new.
Alongside the large crowds, we’re thrilled to report record sales of artwork. Many talented artists found success, with their pieces landing in the hands of appreciative buyers. This kind of support means so much to our society and the artists we represent.
A massive thank you to everyone who came out to support us—your involvement made this event truly special. We hope you enjoyed exploring the stunning artworks on display.
The exhibition featured a diverse range of original art, prints, and greeting cards. From eye-catching oil paintings to beautiful coloured pencil creations, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
We’d also like to give a special mention to our dedicated committee and the many volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this exhibition a success. Their efforts in organising and curating the event have been invaluable.
As we look ahead, we invite you to check out our other upcoming events and continue supporting our members and our society initiatives. Thank you for being part of this journey. Until next time!
