The Sydney Cooper Research Group Group has organised a talk as part of the Canterbury Festival to gather support for the reopening of the Sidney Cooper building in the centre of Canterbury. The Group is establishing itself as a charitable trust, the Sidney Cooper Arts Trust, in support of this aim.

This year’s special theme is ‘HOME’ – for which The ROI Themed Painting Prize is on offer to the best interpretation. However the theme is optional, one aspect of a larger exhibition, to which oil paintings of all subjects are welcome.
