I work mostly in oils, taking my inspiration from the beautiful countryside surrounding my home in East Kent and my many pilgrimages to its inspirational and quirky coastline. I also am lucky enough to be able to travel widely and - wherever possible - will visit not just the high profile museums of art in major cities, but also the many smaller museums and local exhibitions which offer wonderfully enjoyable and insightful experiences as well. It is such a pleasure to discover so many talented artists from across time and different cultures and traditions.

I sell my work online through my website, through exhibitions (at the Fishslab Gallery, Whitstable and Eight Squared Gallery Folkestone), and also via my membership of the East Kent Art Society and Folkestone Art Society.

After graduating from King’s College, London University with a B.A Hons in Modern Languages, I taught French and German in secondary schools. These days, however, I spend as much time as I can in my studio, loving every minute I spend paintbrush in hand!
