Graham Lock

Graham Ivor Lock MA HS ARMS is a traditional British painter and the President of the Weald of Kent Art Society. Based in Chatham, Kent, he specializes in vibrant watercolours, acrylic inks, and landscapes. He spent much of his professional life teaching English and Drama across the UK before focusing extensively on painting.

Graham works primarily with watercolours and acrylic inks, but also creates oil paintings and quick sketches. His portfolio heavily features landscapes, seascapes, coastal boats, town scenes (such as Rochester and Whitstable), and animal portraits.

Over his career, he has achieved several notable rewards, including "Best in Show" for seascapes from the SAA and a major Winsor and Newton award for Best Watercolour at the Coningsby Gallery in London.
