I have been interested in Art from an early age.  Brought up in London, I always enjoyed visits to the art galleries and one of my favourite is the Courtauld Gallery.

There I would seek out the French impressionists and post impressionists in particular.

My own art training includes many years of sketching and life drawing, in pencils, charcoal and pastels and later, painting in oils, learned in art classes.

I prefer to work in a loose impressionist manner, especially with oils and I like to work 'en plein air' on location, whenever possible.
