Sarah Lane

Sarah studied at Goldsmiths College of Art in London in the '70's.  She sold through local galleries and events while continuing to develop and to widen her experience with 'plein air' and life classes under local professional artists.

She used a range of media to suit the subject matter but prefered working in oils. Her work explored light and space and her personal hobbies of walking in woodland and countryside are reflected in her paintings. Many of the works hold a personal and emotional response to the world of nature and can invite you to step into that space and allow yourself to journey with her.
