I worked as a freelance illustrator after gaining my BA Hons Degree in Illustration from Camberwell school of Arts in 1985. My work has been published in magazines, books, packaging and used in advertising promotions.
After having my young family, I retrained as an Art Teacher at Canterbury Christ Church and then worked in various schools in Kent and Medway for 18 years. I alway continued to create my own work and took part in various exhibitions and open studio events in Medway.
Just over 3 years ago I left teaching to focus on my painting and printmaking. My work has been exhibited in various exhibitions and was most recently accepted into The Royal Institute of Water Colour Painters 2025 annual exhibition in the Mall Galleries. My main media is watercolour, but I also enjoy printmaking, in particular Lino. I enjoy painting the environment, buildings, landscapes and still life studies.
